Commissioned to design a complete brand identity for Richter — a tremolo pedal startup entering the musical gear market.
A brand built
on sound physics
Richter needed a brand identity that communicated both technical precision and musical expressiveness. The name itself evokes scale, magnitude, and impact — the right foundation for a product that shapes sound.
The brand concept draws from the physics of tremolo: the periodic fluctuation in the intensity of sound, while the pitch remains constant. This became the guiding metaphor for the visual language — structured variation, controlled movement.
Tremolo
A musical term describing the periodic fluctuation or variation in the intensity (volume or amplitude) of a sound, while the pitch or frequency remains constant.
